Steinhatchee Falls

The Steinhatchee River is a great paddling waterway and has a small set of rapids called "Steinhatchee Falls" up near HW19. The tides greatly influence the river and the "drop" over the falls. This short video captures the solitude and the sound of the water cascading over the rocks.

Short video of Steinhatchee Falls, which is just a couple of miles off of Hwy 19 between Cross City and Perry. This is the falls at high water, when the river is lower the water cascades over the falls about three feet.
